A: We are the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory that your doctor or hospital uses for specimen examination and diagnosis. We are not a part of the medical group or hospital who saw you for your treatment.
This bill is for the examination of a specimen(s) received from the physician or hospital shown on the statement you received.
Q: Have you filed a claim with my insurance company yet?
A: Your physician or hospital usually provides us with your insurance information. If they did, we filed a claim. All insurance payments are shown on the statement you received. If you do not see insurance payments, please provide your current insurance information by e:mail or phone.
Q: Why didn't the insurance pay anything?
A: Your insurance company should have provided you with an explanation of benefits paid or not paid, but please feel free to contact our office to discuss the payment details.
Q: Can I make payments?
A: Please contact our office to work out payment plans. We will be happy to work with you in any way possible to help you satisfy this debt.
Q: What were the results of the lab work?
A: Lab results are only a part of the information your physician uses in your overall care, so you should contact your physician for results and a complete explanation of your diagnosis and care.
